The Aerofit project consisted of 45,000 square feet of manufacturing, 5,000 square feet of inventory, packaging and shipping, and 20,000 square feet of new office build out on two floors. The 25 year-old panelized roof structure did not have adequate capacity to support any additional load that would be imposed by the overhead electrical distribution and HVAC equipment.

HBC aggressively value engineered a solution that would save Aerofit over four weeks of construction time as well as over $200,000 in costs. HBC also lead the team in the logistical planning for the physical relocation of the hundreds of pieces of equipment, coordinating Aerofit's vendors with HBC ‘s prime subcontractors to insure quick resumption of plant production. HBC also helped obtain approvals to operate the facility, from the municipality, while UL certification of equipment was underway.
